Professional Profile
Senior Software Engineer with over 20 years of experience in business systems. I specialize in designing and developing data layers for ERP systems, business reporting, and data migration, transformation and integration. I work primarily with Java, SQL, Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server, and I now also build TypeScript/Node.js applications and automate their deployment across Linux, Docker, Nginx and Oracle Cloud environments.
For 19 years, I worked on a multi-module ERP system. I was responsible for implementing and continually developing its metadata-driven persistence layer, based on architectural concepts developed collaboratively within the team. The layer supported entity processing, business reporting, and integration with Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server and JavaDB.
I also designed data migration, transformation and synchronization mechanisms, system installation and update processes, backup and restore tools, and data preparation workflows for Crystal Reports and JasperReports.
I currently design and maintain TypeScript/Node.js applications and their deployment environments based on Linux, Docker, Nginx, Jenkins and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
I treat infrastructure as a complementary backend engineering skill. I have used Python and FastAPI in practice to build the backend for a depreciation calculator as a small personal project. I am continuing to explore AI/LLM solutions through learning and experimental projects.

How I work
Technology as a tool
I choose the language, framework and architecture to fit the problem and the scale of the project, rather than treating a technology's popularity as a goal in itself.
Simplicity over over-engineering
After working with React and Angular on current services, I chose Lit / Web Components where a heavier framework didn't provide enough benefit.
From code to a running service
I connect backend and database work with Linux, containerization, reverse proxy, CI/CD, troubleshooting and maintaining the production environment.
AI-assisted development
I use AI tools for code analysis, spotting potential bugs, refactoring, working with documentation and speeding up implementation.
